still raining
The rain is coming down on the boats and water.
Time for a local story that goes around.
A man died about a year ago. Many people loved him and many people hated him. He was good and he was evil.
As soon as he died, the man's body was not even cold his "friend" was right in the man's apartment going through all this things to find the will.
After he found the will he was angry. He was pissed off and started to look for another will. His face was red. He turned the apartment upside down. He "friend" was on a slab growing cold. I wonder if his ghost could see what is best friend was doing.
People started to turn up at the man's apartment as soon as they got the word he had died. They found his friend making a wreck out of the place looking for the will.
It turns out he was looking for the dead man's guns. The dead man had left his guns to a friend of his son.
Good thing people came by or who knows what would have happened to the guns. The guns might have walked out of the apartment.
The man looking for the guns has well over a million dollars worth of land and money. He could have gone and bought himself some guns but no he had to make a mess.
It goes to show there really is no honor among thieves.

High tide
The tide is high. The ERYC is getting ready for the holiday.
The Fish Cafe is busy with lots of people who like to sit in the sun and eat dinner and lunch. The boats over at Davidson's boatyard are shipshaping up.
All is well on a very pretty and warm day with the blue sky making everyone happy.

Rainy morning
It is lightly raining after a thunder storm this morning. Many birds have come back to stay for the summer here. The bait store has it's bird friend back and sitting on its back porch.
The red wing black birds fly over to Chowder Island and build nests.
The many seagulls are here too. The laugh gulls are here with the small black heads.
The pair of turns had returned.
Pete the swan still rules his island.
These birds bring so much joy and beauty here.

Blog
Today is foggy. I can see out over the boat basin. Not much is going on out there. I hear that soon they will be starting to work on the docks. That would be very nice.I am looking foward to seeing the boats come back and I can paint paintings of the boats.
